Parliament Street building could be renovated in a 'sympathetic manner'
Planning approval is being sought to 'fully refurbish' a former home furnishing shop in Ramsey and provide a three storey house overlooking the harbour.
As part of the proposals Looney's shop front would be renovated and the former Quay Hole building would be demolished to allow access and space to build a new four bed home.
The application also hopes to restore some of the original features in a 'sympathetic manner' on the former home furnishings shop.
It says this would 'reflect' the style of the other buildings on Parliament Street.
There are also plans to create a yard space for shared access to bin storage, bicycle storage, floodgate barrier storage and access to and from the shop and flat.
It adds the scheme will 'infill' the empty space between the two buildings rather than a 'major redevelopment' of the site.
