14.1 hours of sunshine recorded on 29 April
Ronaldsway Met Office says April was warmer, drier and sunnier than average.
The mean daily maximum across the month was 12.6°C which is a degree above the long-term average.
The warmest day was 30 April with 18.5°C recorded at Ronaldsway Airport.
It was however a month of two halves - the first two weeks changeable and the last two seeing a welcome spell of dry and settled weather.
Rainfall totalled 34.8mm compared to the average of 55mm; 14 April was the wettest day with 12.4mm.
Only April 2021 had more sun with 264.9 hours compared with 241.8 last month; 29 April was the sunniest day with 14.1 hours recorded.
It was breezy at times with 12 days of strong winds and Storm Dave brought 55 knot gusts on 4 April.
Grass frosts were also recorded on seven nights through the month.
