Merger with neighbouring Rushen explored

Jane Glover made the comments after it was announced Arbory is exploring a possible merger with neighbouring Rushen.
Ratepayers in both authorities are being asked for their views on either an administrative or full amalgamation of the two boards.
Mrs Glover explained to Local Democracy Reporter Ewan Gawne the move could improve the running of both authorities:
Vice-chair of Rushen Commissioners Peter Vernon agrees with his Arbory counterpart, and told Ewan the two authorities have a long history of working together.
