Bee Gee knighted
Manx-born Barry Gibb has received his knighthood.
The last surviving Bee Gee was knighted by Prince Charles in an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
The 71-year-old found fame and fortune with the group he formed with his brothers - twins Maurice and Robin - in the 1960s, as they wrote and recorded a string of enduring hits.
All three were born in the Isle of Man, before moving to Manchester and then Australia with their parents.
