The Port Erin Branch of the Royal British Legion has been active for close to 100 years
The Port Erin Branch of the Royal British Legion needs to recruit a full committee or it will be forced to close.
That's according to the president of the branch.
The Armed Forces charity has been active in the south of the Island for close to 100 years supporting veterans in the area, running the Poppy Appeal and the annual parade on Remembrance Day.
Juan Watterson told Manx Radio over the years several people have had to step down due to ill health and they are now 'struggling to find that next generation' of people to be the new secretary and committee members of the branch:
