Public expect 'something different' says MHK
Following from the resignation of the now former Treasury Minister David Ashford, calls for him to consider how he approaches his statement in the House of Keys - which is due tomorrow - are being made.
MHK Chris Thomas was the first political member to call for Mr Ashford's resignation - he says Mr Ashford's resignation letter appears to deny any wrongdoing - and claims he was hounded out of his ministerial post.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Tony Brown has reiterated the role of a minister is to look after the public interest, not the department's interest.
