Forty-three-year-old faced charge against woman
A Douglas man’s had charges of assaulting a woman dropped after prosecutors offered no evidence.
Forty-three-year-old Christopher Richard Corrin, of Anagh Coar Road, appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes through a live link from the Isle of Man Prison.
At an earlier hearing he’d pleaded not guilty to the attack.
Prosecution advocate Rebecca Cubbon told the court the woman involved had retracted her statement to police and offered no evidence in the case.
The charges was marked as dismissed.
