Health body says demand has exceeded capacity in recent weeks
Audiology drop in clinics at Noble's Hospital will be suspended indefinitely from Monday.
Manx Care says that in recent weeks demand has exceeded capacity with the clinics quickly becoming full, with patients having to be turned away.
The health body says the suspension will help it to manage demand more safely and ensure patients can access services in a planned and effective way.
Patients will need to call 650407, select option 2 and leave their name, date of birth and a brief description of what they require.
Alternatively, if they are unable to use a phone, they can email their request to audiology.nobles@gov.im
Patients attending without an appointment after 29 June will be asked to contact the service to arrange the next available slot. Manx Care says they will not be seen without an appointment.
