Figures published in IoM in Numbers 2021 report
The average house price on the Isle of Man is more than £313,000.
That's according to data, for the 12 months up to December 2020, in the 2021 Isle of Man in Numbers report from the Cabinet Office.
The average house price stood at £313,192 whilst the average flat price was £154,467.
During the same period 1,378 house transactions, and 281 flat transactions, were lodged with the Land Registry.
Government says the statistics relating to last year are provisional and may be subject to change.
Meanwhile 19 first time buyer transactions, and six open market transactions, were supported by housing purchase assistance.
£765,444 of support was paid out in total - the average amount of assistance given was £30,618.
The report also says 61 per cent of those on the first time buyers register pick Douglas, and the east, as their area of choice for purchase.
