Dandara looking to build 282 houses
Following two public consultations, Dandara has submitted detailed plans for the first two phases of a housing development and bypass in Ballasalla.
The development will see 282 homes built with a mix of single and two-storey properties with two, three and four bedrooms houses on offer.
A bypass will divert traffic away from the village centre with a roundabout at Glashen Hill on the New Castletown Road through to Balthane Corner near to the industrial estate entrance.
Dandara says the project will create up to 190 jobs and, subject to planning approval, work could start towards the middle of the year.
