Band who supported Meat Loaf pay tribute

The band won the gig following a Battle of the Bands

Gasp, a local band that once supported Meat Loaf, the rock legend who has died aged 74, pay tribute to the superstar.

Dave Smyth of the band, told Manx Radio how the band he was in won the chance to support the singer, after winning Battle of the Bands, a gig set up by Bushy's Brewery.

The American singer, born Marvin Lee Aday, came to the Island in 1990 and played at The Bowl, otherwise known as King George V Park.
