Secure your vehicles urge police
An appeal's been issued after a spate of car battery thefts around the capital.
They are thought to have occurred over the last fortnight, targeting vehicles parked in Snugborough Trading Estate and Hills Meadow Industrial Estate.
Thieves also attempted to access two heavy duty vehicle batteries from a vehicle parked by the Grandstand.
It's unknown if the incidents are linked at this stage.
If you have been offered batteries for sale recently, or can assist police with their enquiries, you're asked to contact 631212.
