BBC appearance will boost food sector

Countryfile episode airing next Sunday

The Island's scenic landscapes and local produce will be showcased to an audience of eight million next weekend.

BBC Countryfile presenters Ellie Harrison and Joe Crowley will be seen soaking up the local colour, riding on MER trams, and enjoying fine Manx produce from Noa Bakehouse.

DEFA's national Food Business Development manager, Andrew Lees, says it's a coup for the sector - and the whole Island.

BA: You can see the hour-long episode on Sunday, 26 February at 8pm on BBC One.
