Heysham harbour hit by silting problems again
Nine Ben-my-Chree sailings between today (Sun 30th ) and Thursday (3 January) have had their departure times changed.
The Steam Packet says the latest dredging survey of Heysham harbour shows increased silting in some areas of it, which could be a result of the recent poor weather.
This evening's 7.45pm Douglas to Heysham sailing will leave at 7pm.
The other affected sailings are as follows:
Monday, 31 December: 8.45am Dou-Hey will leave at 8am.
New Year's Day: 8.45am Dou-Hey will leave at 7.30am.
2.15pm Hey-Dou will leave at 12.30pm.
7.45pm Dou-Hey will leave at 7pm.
Wednesday, 2 January: 1.30am Hey-Dou will leave at 12.50am.
8.45am Dou-Hey will leave at 8am.
2.15pm Hey-Dou will leave at 1.20pm.
Thursday, 3 January: 2.15am Hey-Dou will leave at 1.30am.
