Over £600 raised so far to help Yamanaka
A crowdfunding page set up for a Japanese privateer travelling to the Isle of Man for the TT who had a large amount of money stolen has exceeded its target.
Masayuki Yamanaka has come here a number of times as he chases his dream of racing on the Mountain Course, something he describes as his lifetime's ambition.
However, this year he was robbed in Liverpool as he made his way to the Island.
The page had a target of raising £500, to help Mr Yamanaka with the living costs for him and his team while they are here.
By 9am this morning (Mon 21st) it had already topped £600
