Big Beat to take on local DJs

Drums meet decks in charity meet

A troupe of charity drummers will be warming up for their marathon session at the end of next month with a one-off gig at Noa Bakehouse.

The Big Beat crew will be jamming with some of their favourite local DJs - giving people a taste of what's to come when they embark upon a 50-hour fundraising effort on 24 February.

The Big Beat, supported by PokerStars' Helping Hands programme, is raising money for Craig's Heartstrong Foundation this year.

Martin Rigby of The Big Beat says they 'can't wait' for the Big Beat Vs.

He says playing live with the DJs was 'one of the most popular features of the first event' two years ago, and hosting this gig allows them to have a special night as a warm up to the main event.
