Venerable Peter Andrew Eagles takes a tour
The Island's new Bishop says he felt "exhilarated but exhausted" after his whistle stop tour.
Downing Street confirmed on Thursday that the Venerable Peter Andrew Eagles would become the next Bishop of Sodor and Man.
Expected to take up the position later this year - he spent the day on the Island visiting schools, meeting members of government, the bishop's leadership team, some clergy and attended evensong at Peel Cathedral.
The Bishop-elect believes he has his first taste of what makes the Island unique:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
