Coroner offers condolences to the family
A verdict of accidental death has been recorded after a crash which killed a Bolton man.
Fifty-five year-old Shaun Watkinson died in a collision on the Mountain Road on June the second.
He had been in the Island for the TT when his bike struck the back of a Citroen car on Hailwood’s Rise.
The court heard how Mr Watkinson, a project manager, was thrown over the car and onto the road.
Coroner of inquests John Needham described it as a ‘very tragic accident’ and offered his condolences to the family.
