
A ten year old boy from the north has been flown to a UK hospital, after a road accident in Ramsey yesterday (Wed)
He was riding a bicycle when he was involved in a collision with a blue BMW car which was being driven by a local woman.
The incident happened just before 6.30pm on North Shore road.
The boy was taken to Nobles Hospital and then flown to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital on Merseyside for further treatment. His condition is described as serious, but stable.
Police, Ambulance and Public Service Vehicle examiners checked the scene and an investigation is now being led by officers of the Roads Policing Unit, supported by staff from Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team, based in Ramsey.
