Manx Gas thanks for patience during works
Bucks Road will open to traffic again at 5pm this afternoon (Sat)
Major works by Manx Gas were completed yesterday (Fri), a month ahead of schedule.
It's been replacing mains pipes on Bucks Road between the Rosemount pub and the junction with Circular Road.
The project was planned well in advance - and saw commuters having to endure diversions, closures and additional traffic lights.
Manx Gas says without cooperation from Infrastructure workers, police, residents and the media - the works would have taken longer
Customer Network Services director, Robert Gardner, says the company is grateful for the level of patience shown by everyone involved
