Eddie Teare opens up about death threat
Ex-Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says abuse he received while in politics was 'unwarranted'.
He opened up about the 'horrific' death threat received by his wife at their home in 2014.
The matter was investigated by police, and a reward was offered to help identify the author.
In the UK, politicians aren't keeping personal attacks to themselves - instead, they're choosing to out victimizers to authorities.
Mr Teare says there's a difference between scrutiny and vitriol:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
