The head teacher of Bunscoill Rhumsaa is to retire this summer.
Jacqueline Barrow oversaw the merger of the Audlyn Schools and Scoill Ree Gorree - where she had been head since 2009.
She began her career at Ballaugh Primary School in 1978.
Mrs Barrow says she's 'enjoyed working with so many wonderful children and dedicated professionals' over the last 35 years.
The chief executive officer of the Department of Education and Children, Professor Ronald Barr, says she will be greatly missed by the school and by the wider education community.
The headship will be advertised shortly.
