
A union official says a TT bus strike isn't inevitable.
This morning, the union Unite announced industrial action would begin on Saturday, May 25 before practice week and end on Wednesday, June 5, in the middle of race week.
The walkout will hit the Island’s roads when they’re at their busiest, and will also affect GCSE and A-level students sitting exams.
It’s the latest move in the long-running row over changes to terms and conditions which the government says would save £300,000 a year.
