Department hopes 10-day walkout can be avoided
Negotiations aimed at avoiding an upcoming bus strike are continuing.
The Department of Infrastructure has made a fourth offer to Unite the Union following notification of potential industrial action affecting bus services for ten days from Saturday (21 February).
Earlier this week, conciliation talks were held at the offices of the Manx Industrial Relations Service, and discussions are continuing in an effort to reach a constructive resolution.
The Department says it hopes the planned action can be suspended to allow talks to progress, but if not, details of contingency measures will be released in due course.
