At least two children die from ingesting the items in the UK each year
Each year at least two children in the UK die due to button batteries, according to the Island's Interim Deputy Director of Public Health.
It comes after a 4-year-old boy on the Island accidentally swallowed one last week and had to be airlifted to Alder Hey for treatment, where he's currently recovering.
