Manx contribution to holocaust commemoration
The Manx public's being invited once more to help support an international commemoration project, which is gathering momentum.
'Button Moon' holocaust memorial was started at the Lakes School in Windermere last October, where pupils hoped to collect one and half million buttons - one for each victim of the tragedy.
Su Collins of Peel Belles W.I. has been coordinating a Manx contribution, and she says there's actually a connection with the Island.
Ms Collins was originally hoping to gather 3,000 buttons - her total has now reached more than 55,000.
Can you help? There are collection points at the W.I. Centre in Onchan, or the Newsagents on Michael Street in Peel.
