By-election called at Onchan commissioners

Voters will head to polls on 22 October

It's been confirmed a by-election will take place to fill a vacant seat on Onchan Commissioners next month.

Aspiring candidates can collect nomination papers from the Commissioners' Offices on Main Road in the village up until 24 September.

Voters will head to the polls on 22 October to elect a new representative to serve until May next year.

The election was called to replace James Cherry, who resigned in October last year.
