
The Douglas East by-election fraud trial is drawing to a close.
The prosecution has completed its closing address at Douglas Courthouse.
Twenty-five year-old Kerry Rothwell of Onchan and 40-year-old Gail Corrin of Douglas deny dishonestly obtaining proxy votes for celebrity chef Kevin Woodford in May 2010.
Prosecuting, Cairns Nelson QC, told the jury the 'rule book was ripped up and thrown out of the window'.
