Poppy Appeal box and change from till taken
The co-owner of a Douglas business burgled overnight has branded those responsible 'despicable' for stealing a Poppy Appeal collection box.
Stu Peters, from the Coffee Exchange on Athol Street, says he believes the business was targeted, as the burglar had sawn through a security grill and broken a security glass window at the back of the cafe to get in there.
They also took a small amount of change from the till.
Police are investigating and have issued an appeal for information - call them on 631212 if you know anything.
