MHK critical of but supported financial plan
An MHK who's faced criticism for his comments on last week's budget has explained his approach.
Rob Callister told Tynwald he was 'disappointed' with Alfred Cannan's budget, and had 'serious concerns' over an apparent failure to address rising living costs.
The minister dismissed his remarks as 'all over the place'.
Mr Callister ultimately went on to vote in favour of the budget.
He says voting in protest is often an attempt to 'grab a quick headline' - and overall, Treasury 'needed support' from politicians:
DHA considering applicability of UK policing reforms on IOM
Dealer who ran from police in his underpants jailed
Yellow weather warning issued as Storm Chandra heads our way
Tim Crookall: "I've been trying my best"
