Callister questions, Hooper clauses dominate Keys agenda

Twelve questions for oral answer

The House of Keys are sitting this morning.

There are 12 questions for oral answer and 22 for written reply, though amendments to the Communications Bill are likely to dictate the day's proceedings.

Onchan MHK Rob Callister has questions about several matters.

Mr Callister will quiz the chief minister on the Manx Gas report, whilst looking for answers on the planning fee increase, the education bill, the post office and the Santander contract, as well as Japanese knotweed.

Health Minister David Ashford will have to deal with further fallout from his department's integrated care vision, as the Onchan member probes once more on the recent 'copy and paste' discovery.

Along with 10 questions, Ramsey's Lawrie Hooper will look to move his clauses on the Communications Bill, which could deem electronic messages sent with the intention to cause harm an offence.

Meanwhile, the minister for education is again being faced with the word 'review', but, the question from MHK Jason Moorhouse, just concerns school holidays.

You can listen to the Keys sitting live from 10am, online at manxradio.com via the AM player, on the smartphone app, or on AM1368.
