Crossroads CEO quizzes health heads at government conference
The chief executive of a charity which supports carers had called on government to carry out assessments immediately.
Jackie Betteridge, from Crossroads Care, questioned the health minister and Manx Care’s CEO on the issue at the Isle of Man Government Conference.
She’s described carers as being the 'most misunderstood' workers on the Island.
And she adds the lack of carers' assessments is an issue the charity has been fighting for almost four decades:
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
