Pro-life pressure group holds first meeting
Anyone calling themselves 'pro-choice' when it comes to abortions should think 'very carefully' about the choice they're supporting.
That's according to UK peer Lord Alton of Liverpool, who delivered a talk in Douglas last night (Thu) at the inaugural meeting of a new pressure group.
Humanity & Equality in Abortion Reform (HEAR) has been established in direct response to another new Island group, the Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation - or CALM.
But Lord Alton believes that's an inappropriate name.
