The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) says it's already looking at ways to improve its Beer and Cider Festival for 2016.
More than 10,500 pints of ale and cider were sold, with 3,000 people through the doors.
The event was moved from the Masonic Hall to the Villa Marina in Douglas to accommodate more customers, but at times people queued for hours and many were turned away.
CAMRA Media Liaison Alan Cooper has apologised for the long wait to get served and says there will be a major rethink for next year:
