Director of Public Health will oppose legalising drug
The Island's Director of Public Health and Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson will debate the use of cannabis, both medicinally and recreationally, this evening (Wed 6) .
Dr Allinson will propose that the economic and medical advantages of legalising all strains of cannabis in the Isle of Man outweigh the social concerns.
Dr Henrietta Ewart will oppose that motion.
The ILS World debate takes place at the Palace Hotel and Casino, registration opens at 5:30pm.
