MD of European Hemp Association speaks out
A spokesperson for a European consortium on hemp has branded Manx legislation on the crop 'stupid'.
Managing Director of the European Industrial Hemp Association Michael Carus, believes there is a 'strange logic' in being able to buy hemp-derived products on Island whilst law forbids growers from cultivating it.
Speaking to Manx Radio via skype from his home in Germany, Dr. Carus said the current regulations on hemp are down to misinformed politicians:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
