Announcement on by-election due shortly
A by-election is to be held in Castletown, following the resignation of one of the town's Commissioners.
James Barrow has stepped down from the board on 'personal' grounds.
He was first elected in last April's local authority elections.
Commissioners chairman Colin Leather thanked Mr Barrow for his hard work, and wished him well for the future.
An announcement on the by-election is due shortly - anyone considering putting their name forward is invited to contact the town clerk on 825005.
