Inquest opened at Douglas Courthouse today
A 63-year-old Castletown woman, found dead at Groudle last month, died after drowning.
The inquest into the death of Grace Joy Cain, of Hope Street, was opened at Douglas Courthouse today.
The retired art teacher was reported missing on Saturday, 29 October prompting a search and rescue operation.
Her body was spotted on the rocks at Sea Lion Cove the following day and recovered.
Adjourning proceedings, Coroner of Inquests James Brooks passed on his condolences to Mrs Cain's family and released her body so that funeral arrangements can take place.
