Standing water after overnight deluge
Drivers are still being advised to take extra care on Island roads this morning, after heavy overnight rain.
At one stage, officers said there were "not enough dots on the matrix signs" to express how bad conditions were on the Mountain Road last night.
Conditions on the Mountain are much improved although there are still reported to be areas of standing water and foggy patches.
