Elevate You Awards returns

An awards event celebrating women in the workplace has been announced ahead of International Women’s Day this Sunday (8 March).

The Elevate You Awards highlights the contributions of women in business and aims to highlight how investing in female talent can drive a company forward.

Founder of LC Consultancy and host of the event, Louise Wheeler, says there are three categories women can nominate themselves for, plus an Inspiring Women category, which can only be nominated by others.

Louise says: “I wanted the Elevate You awards to really facilitate that approach amongst businesses, as well as to inspire and empower women across the Isle of Man.

“It’s been a huge project for me to bring to life, but feedback from last year was fantastic, so I can’t wait to do it all again this September, even bigger and better!”

She explains why it's important to invest in and inspire women in the workplace:
