Home Affairs looking to reduce red tape for publicans
Designated officials shouldn't have to go to court to change their license from one premises to another, according to the deputy chief executive of home affairs.
That's one of the moves being considered by the department, which is in the process of altering licensing laws, to remove some of the red tape for local people and businesses.
Julian Lalor-Smith used that as one suggestion of ways things could be made easier for publicans:
