
The managing director of the Isle of Man Bank says a significant decline in the number of people using its Laxey branch has forced its closure.
Bill Shimmins was speaking live on Mandate ahead of the branch shutting its doors for the final time at close of business today.
Laxey residents Manx Radio have spoken to say they're annoyed and disappointed at the move, which will leave the village without a bank.
