RBST believes native livestock play an important role
A charity that works to protect native livestock such as Manx Loaghtans is calling for more support for farmers who work with at risk breeds.
The Rare Breeds Survival Trust recently added loaghtans to its priority watchlist due to falling numbers.
The group wants the UK government to establish a ministerial-led round table group to look at ways to strengthen numbers.
