Charity thankful for 'terrific' response
An urgent call to save an upcoming charity trip has been answered in less than 24 hours.
Friends of Chernobyl's Children has spent many years bringing youngsters from Belarus to the Island for a spell of respite.
But this year's mission, set for July, was put in jeopardy this week when organisers were let down by a local transport provider.
An appeal was launched for a minibus on Friday morning - and a replacement found the same afternoon.
