People urged to use alternative route
People with vaccination appointments in Douglas are being encouraged to attend despite an ‘ongoing incident’ in the capital.
Armed police are in the area of Strand Street and Duke Street.
However the Department of Health and Social Care says the Chester Street vaccination hub is still operational.
It’s asked people to approach via Finch Road or Castle Street instead.
