Believes building will remain safe even in private sector

However, Treasury rejected their proposals, as it wanted a significant financial payment for the building, which MNH was unable to meet without using their charitable reserves - something they were unwilling to do.
However, Mr Quayle says he believes the Baillie Scott building - which is registered - will be protected even if is privately owned.
