Arup organise drop-in evening for residents
The chief minister says, as promised, he has ordered an independent review into the Laxey floods.
Howard Quayle made the pledge when he went to visit residents, following the incident at the start of October.
An off-Island company, Arup, has been appointed to carry out the review, which will include a drop-in evening for residents so they can relay their experiences and share their knowledge of the area.
That's due to take place on 11 December.
Mr Quayle says one of Arup's top people will head up the review:
Lessons learned after snow day confusion
More than 100 firearms surrendered
Planning application to extend TT hospitality tent for new Food and Drink Festival submitted
'No tangible positives' achieved by public sector integrity line, says trade union
