Eight spectators and a rider taken to hospital following incident in Ramsey
The chief minister says he was very concerned and shocked to hear about an incident during yesterday’s TT practice session which resulted in a number of people needing medical treatment.
Eight spectators and a rider were taken to Noble’s following the incident at the exit of Parliament Square.
Alfred Cannan posted on social media that thoughts and prayers should now go to the injured and those working to treat them.
The competitor was described as being 'conscious and talking with leg injuries' while the injured spectators were all said to be conscious.
The remainder of yesterday’s schedule was called off due to the incident.
