The new venture will start early in the new year
A long-standing insurance issue which meant some fast food delivery drivers couldn't get cover on-Island, appears to have been resolved.
Last month Peel Fisheries owner Dave Matthews told Manx Radio he'd hit a brick wall in his attempts to find insurance which would allow him to start a home delivery service.
Despite full support from government and local brokers he hadn't been able to make any progress.
However, in a social media post, Mr Matthews says after months of persevering, the chippy is now insured for delivery, and the new venture will start early in the new year.
