Radio Caroline presenter to take up role in April
Manx Radio has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director.
Chris Sully will take up the role in April, at what Chairman Bill Mummery called "a pivotal time in the development of Public Service Broadcasting".
Mr Sully has had a 28-year career with British Forces Broadcasting Services, having held station management roles in Belize, Cyprus, Germany, Northern Ireland, the Falkland Islands and the United Kingdom.
In his leisure time he has, for a number of years, supported Radio Caroline as a presenter in a voluntary role, and is well-known to its listeners under the pseudonym Chris Pearson.
Mr Sully replaces former Managing Director Anthony Pugh, who retired after fifteen years at the helm of the organisation.
